Being a Smart Consumer. STRESS!

How to be a smart consumer?

How are Malaysians doing recently? I think some Malaysians have been good times whereas some have been trying times. For those who have been in the difficult times... then what is it has resulted in us facing dire economic problems?

And I have a serious question to myself - How to prevent overspending?

To spend more than is prudent or necessary is totally harmful. But I have got so many things that I want to buy now, such as:

facial mask, whitening cream, sandals, laptop, external hard disk, lingerie, Yoga, British Council, mobile phone, Police sunglasses, sun block, luggage, camera & so forth.

I understand by playing a concerted role and practice prudence and caution could stop being wasteful, as well could control my money from flowing out like water; however it's difficult to do what I 'understand'.

In the first place, I think I need to have a budget... because there have been a general increase in the price of many essential/inessential items. Even I've tried to shop in Sg Wang hoping to get some cheap stuffs; But... those stuffs are not meeting my general requirements sometimes *Alamak, headache* ... on materials wise and so on. Then I would rather to fork out a little bit more to get something which I like it better.

Then perhaps, it is time to change. I should learn to live within my means. I shouldn't always rely on Mr.Lim. Especially when I'm overseas... if I don't learn now I would suffer there. But you see.. if you would to ask me to be thrifty and do not spend unnecessarily; I would say... most of the items I mention as above are quite unimportant/unwanted, right? Then how?? I don't buy household items anyway *though they're important*. A big OH NO from me ~ Oh NO!!!!!!!!

Well... can't think of a perfect solution. but there's actually solutions crossing on my mind now... like look out for bargains *but it only happens in LowYat Plaza & Petaling Street*; should not throw caution to the wind *then what if I carry behaviors of compulsive shopping*... okay... ain't easy to change huh!

I must think of a solution!!! I must learn!!! STRESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
