Balik Kampung Trip
Last week, my parents and I went back to mommy's kampung - PERLIS! Ever since both my grandparents started to get very sick most of us then balik kampung more frequent than we did last time. Grandparents' maids... listening to my grandpa... Dinner time... she's smiling ... so sweet!
I've always loved to talk to my grandpa. He's a popular fortune teller and very often he will give me some precious advice on the things that I do.
Sometimes I just miss talking to my grandma.
It was such an awful pain to see her suffering from a ‘massive stroke’ last year. She couldn’t speak now (or could never speak again); and because of this sickness she’s been paralyzed. But it does seem like she still has feelings for the things around her. She cries out in pain; she smiles; she nods and shakes head when we ask her questions. She shows emotions! We really hope to share her suffering! But "pain comes ‘unsharably’ into our midst".
